I've been tattooing for about 4 years, working professionally for 2 — and I built Tatted by Ruby around one idea: a tattoo should feel personal, not picked off a wall.

I draw custom, I think about placement first, and I care how a piece heals and ages — not just how it photographs on day one.

Before your appointment

  • Moisturize the area in the days before (not day-of)
  • Get a good night's sleep
  • Eat a real meal & bring water / a snack for longer sessions
  • Wear something that gives easy access to the placement
  • No alcohol the night before — it thins blood

Aftercare basics

  • Keep the bandage on as directed, then wash gently with fragrance-free soap
  • Thin layer of ointment — don't smother it
  • Don't pick, scratch, soak, or tan while healing
  • No pools, baths, or saunas until fully healed
  • Peeling & itching is normal — moisturize, don't scratch
  • DM me a healed photo — I love seeing them!

How do I book?

DM me on Instagram at @tattedbyruby, or call/text me at (470) 795-1143. Include your idea, where you want it, roughly how big, and reference photos if you have them. Use the booking builder above and your message is basically written for you.

Do I need a deposit?

Yes — your deposit holds your date and goes toward your tattoo. No deposit, no locked appointment. I'll send deposit details once we've agreed on your piece and date by DM or text.

What's your minimum?

$150. Even small pieces take a full sterile setup, custom drawing time, and quality materials — the minimum covers doing it properly.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes — walk-ins are welcome! Stop by the shop and I'll tattoo you if there's an opening. Walk-ins are first come, first served and depend on the day's schedule, so smaller and flash pieces are the easiest to fit in. Want a bigger custom piece or a guaranteed slot? Book ahead by DM or text and lock it with a deposit. And follow @tattedbyruby on Instagram — that's where I post same-day openings first.

Do you do cover-ups?

Yes. Send a clear, well-lit photo of the tattoo you want covered plus ideas for the new piece. Cover-ups need the new design to be planned around the old one, so they always start with that photo.

Can you tattoo my idea exactly from Pinterest?

I'll use it as inspiration and draw you a custom version in my style. That way your tattoo is yours — and designed to fit your body and age well.

What should I bring?

Valid ID, cash for your balance, water, and a snack if we're doing a longer session. Eat before you come — tattooing on an empty stomach is how people get lightheaded.
